Visa
Participants should ask for a Conference Visa. Participants are advised to contact the consular authorities of India well in advance for processing the visa applications. Please refer to the FAQs for a Conference Visa and the Authorized Portal for Visa Application to India.
Travel Access
You need to reach Ahmedabad or Vadodara which are the two airports near Anand.
- Ahmedabad Airport : 90 km (1 hour and 45 minutes) from the venue. Ola/Uber as well as prepaid taxi services are available at the airport.
- Vadodara Airport : 40 km (1 hour) from the venue. Ola/Uber taxi services are available at the airport.
- International flights arrive at Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. From Delhi or Mumbai, numerous flights are available for Ahmedabad and Vadodara.
Local Currency
The official currency in India is Rupee, represented by INR (₹). The currency can be exchanged at money exchanges at the airport or in Anand.
Payments
Cash, credit cards, debit cards & UPI payments are accepted at most hotels, restaurants and shopping malls. UPI like GooglePay and Paytm are very common at smaller shops for making payments. Please ensure that your card is enabled for international transactions.
